Maybe you’re ready to stop snoring but are put off by the idea of wearing a device every night.
Maybe you’ve tried a device and found it too uncomfortable.
There is another solution – the Zz Snore anti-snoring nasal spray.
Made with safe products, this spray is designed to help you stop snoring and give you back quality sleep.
A Closer Look at The Product
Zz Snore is a spray that is designed to work in your respiratory tract – your nose, throat, and airways. For some people, these air passages get loose and fall back into the throat, causing snoring. Most anti-snoring products try to physically correct the problem by pulling the jaw or tongue into place or forcing the mouth shut.
Zz Snore takes a different approach – it’s a spray that is designed to reduce friction and resistance in the upper respiratory tract by lubricating and slightly tightening the tissues. This lubrication helps the air travel down and stops or reduces snoring in most people.
This product was originally marketed in Europe as Asonar, until it was rebranded for the American market. The Zz Snore is relatively recent in the U.S.A., but it has been on the market in Europe under its European name for 20 years.
While over-the-counter supplements like this spray can’t get FDA approval, they can be registered, and the Zz Snore spray is registered with the FDA. It has safe, effective and easy-to-use ingredients. The bottle is 30 ml and only dispenses a small amount each night, so it can be used for up to 30 days.
This spray is designed to relieve snoring, but not for any serious medical conditions except on physician’s advice. Sleep apnea can cause snoring but is a serious medical condition that requires professional help. If you have or suspect you might have sleep apnea, you should see a doctor.
What Makes It Different?
An anti-snoring device is probably going to be more effective at stopping snoring, but they do have some drawbacks.
The biggest complaint is that they can be uncomfortable, or not look very attractive when worn.
Some people experience jaw pain or are not able to use these devices because they have jaw problems, dentures or braces.
The Zz Snore avoids all of these problems and can be used by almost anyone over the age of 18. It is endorsed by a number of doctors, and it has been tested in clinical trials, although it’s difficult to get the exact results of those trials.
It’s a great option for situations where other snoring devices might not be suitable, such as travel. No one wants to wear a big mouthpiece or chin strap while on a plane for example, but they also don’t want to snore through their flight.
The Zz Snore spray bottle is 30 ml which makes it small enough to be taken on a flight, and it’s especially good because transport options and hotel rooms often dry out the airways, making snoring worse.
There is some criticism for nasal sprays, mostly because sprays tend to be naturopathic with no real scientific evidence that they work. Zz Snore has been tested in clinical studies, freely lists its ingredients, and has registered with the FDA. That makes it more trustworthy than other similar options.
How to Use
Every night, 20 minutes before bed, pump 4 – 6 sprays into each nostril.
In total, you’ll end up with about the same amount of liquid as the average raindrop.
If you’d prefer not to put the solution up your nose, you can put around 5 pumps straight into the back of your throat.
Zz Snore claims that over time you can probably use less product and get the same results.
It can take time to see the full results, normally around 10 nights of use.
Price and Warranty
Depending on where you buy the product, it can be tricky to find the exact price. On the website, you have to fill out a form with a lot of personal information to get to the page with the pricing on it. If you want one bottle, you’ll pay around $39.95.
If you sign up for a monthly subscription, you’ll pay around $29.95. Shipping is $4.95 each time.
Zz Snore does have regular deals and offers, and many can be found on their Facebook page. The product comes with a 30-day money back guarantee (other places on the website say 60 days).
You can return the product at any time, for any reason, and receive your money back (minus shipping costs).
I was a bit worried about trying this one because I didn’t think it would work, and I hate powerful nasal sprays that irritate my nose. I ordered the spray online, and it came fairly quickly. That night, I put the nasal spray into my nostril, pumped, and – it was fine!
Zz Snore has a patented delivery design that only gives about a raindrop-sized drop of solution in a very fine mist, not an unpleasant powerful mist like other nasal sprays. It also doesn’t leave you with a horrible taste, another thing I was concerned about.
I put the spray in and went to bed 20 minutes later. I set my snore app to record my snoring overnight, and there was a slight improvement on the first night. After a week, there was a noticeable drop in my snoring.
The problem is, I am a very loud snorer, and even half of my regular snoring is still enough to annoy my wife! I do think the spray helped me, but it wasn’t enough to get the results I get with other anti-snoring devices.
I could imagine using it for when I am in a dry room as well as my usual device, but this wasn’t a magical solution for me.
Pros and Cons
- No annoying appliances
- Safe and easy to use
- Is effective at reducing snoring
- Great for travel
- Quite expensive
- Not a perfect solution
You have 30 days to decide if it’s right for you, and then you’re only out $4.95 for shipping. That’s a small price to pay for something that could potentially change your life.
The problem is, it’s just not as effective as a mouthpiece. Once you try a device that really stops your snoring, the feeling of truly good sleep is addictive, and most people wouldn’t want to go back!
If you can, I highly recommend trying one of our top-rated devices if you’re serious about stopping your snoring. If you’re not ready to take that step, the Zz Snore is a good solution.
If you want to try a nasal spray, try this one. It’s the safest and most open about its ingredients, and if you include the time it has been sold in Europe, it has been on the market for a long time and is still going strong.
If you have serious snoring and need a more effective solution, then try one of the other devices recommended here. It’s worth a little experimentation to reduce your snoring and take control over your sleep.

Which Product Should I Buy?
With well over 100 products on the market it can obviously be quite daunting to decide, “Which one?”
To help ease the decision process I have created a comparison chart where you can effortlessly assess each product and its features, price, pros and cons. I have also written several detailed reviews for those devices that I believe to be leading products.
If you would rather not spend a lot of time reading reviews, please take a look at the article linked here: My Mouthpiece Recommendation. It’s a list of three products which I believe, based on my extensive experience, are the best options available to people who suffer from snoring.
