ZQuiet and VitalSleep are two commonly used anti-snoring devices that seem similar on the surface, but have a number of differences that change how they work to stop your snoring.
There are so many Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs) available that it can be daunting to choose which one is right for you.
While the basic design might be the same, these anti-snoring products have key differences that change the function and feel of the device.
If you are trying to decide between these two popular products, here is a comparison of key features that might help you choose.
About the VitalSleep
VitalSleep Adjustable MAD
VitalSleep is a MAD device that gently lifts the jaw forward to open airways and prevent snoring.
This product is a customizable mouthpiece that is exactly fitted to your mouth using the “boil and bite” method, where the thermoplastic is submerged in boiling water to make it soft.
The user then bites down on the plastic, and as it cools, it moulds perfectly to the user’s mouth.
The device is available in two sizes for added comfort.
The product comes with a case for storage and an instruction manual. It offers a 1-year warranty and free device replacement if the product is faulty in any way.
The company also offers a 30-day money back trial period, so you can test this MAD at home to see if it will work for you.

About the ZQuiet
ZQuiet Hinged Design MAD
The ZQuiet is a MAD designed to pull the jaw slightly forward – only by a few millimeters, which is enough to keep the base of the tongue from blocking the airways and causing snoring.
It features a patented “living hinge” technology that helps keep the device in place overnight, but also allows the wearer to talk, breathe naturally and even have a drink.
The ZQuiet does not use “boil and bite” moulding, as it comes in a prefabricated shape that is ready to use right out of the box and designed to fit most mouths.
It can be slightly customised by trimming it with small scissors and filing down for comfort.
The product does come in two sizes, and both are included in the price, so you can see what works for you.
Size A is for light snorers, with size B being an option for heavy snorers.
This product comes with a 30-day trial period.
You are charged $9.95 for postage, and the device is sent to your address.
You have 30 days to try it out, and if you haven’t arranged to send it back after the 30-day time period, you are charged an additional $79.95.

These two anti-snoring products both reduced my snoring and had different advantages and drawbacks.
I would happily use either device, but my personal preference is the VitalSleep.
I liked the higher level of customization, the slightly lower price and I felt it was the best fit for my mouth.
Both are American-made, FDA approved and come with many positive reviews.
While both devices are trustworthy and effective, you will need to personally decide between being able to customise the VitalSleep or the flexibility of the ZQuiet.
The 30-day trial period means you can easily order one or both to test them out at home, with the confidence that you will not lose money if you are unhappy with the results.
Either way, these snoring products will help you sleep better and achieve a restful, snoring-free night.
Which Product Should I Choose?
Every person has a unique mouth and needs, so one that is perfect for one person may not be the best option for another.
There are well over 100 products on the market, so making a decision can be quite daunting.
You will find a lot of helpful information in the comparison chart, and I have written reviews of several products.
